This tube is one of two custom made for an early horn speaker manufacturer. The filament draws 2 amps at 25 volts and the general construction is similar to the external grid receiving tube, just on a larger scale. The base is a standard Edison screw type and the tube measures about 6.5 inches in length. The lower close-up shows the coiled filament lead used to get the length needed for the 25 volts.
